The “Over the Hill Gang Flag Football League” began in October 2022. The concept was derived from the “Over the Hill Gang Softball League” which has been in existence since 1975. With the desire to play football with friends along with the success of the softball league we said, why not an over 40 football league.
The first season consisted of four teams with 40 players and has since grown to six teams with 60 players. The games are played by a bunch of gentlemen who still like to get out and have some fun. The aches and pains are an excepted after-effect of playing but can generally be treated with a variety of remedies instilling even more joy after the games.
